Baldwin County Executive Committee
Robyn Monaghan
Chair
Robyn has spent the last few years as Chair of the Baldwin County Democratic Executive Committee, where she has transformed a once-quiet organization into an active, growing community. Her early outreach revealed a shared concern: voters felt they had no Democratic choices on the ballot. Robyn has worked tirelessly to change this by recruiting progressive candidates and strengthening countywide engagement. She believes in supporting candidates with the resources they need to run and in keeping members connected beyond election cycles. Her vision centers on community, inclusion, and long-term civic empowerment.
John Sloan
Vice Chair
John serves as the Vice Chair of the Baldwin County Democratic Executive Committee, bringing decades of academic and organizational leadership to the role. Though newly appointed in July 2025, he is no stranger to politics or public service. During his career at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, John co-founded the Center for Cybersecurity and helped secure major funding while working alongside state leaders. His experience in data-driven decision-making and fundraising is now fueling his vision for building a strategic, well-organized donor network. John is committed to developing tools that help the committee understand member interests and act on them effectively.

Denise D'Oliveira
Co-Chair
Denise serves as Chair of the Eastern Shore Democrats and is a dedicated member of her community. She is committed to strengthening civic engagement across the Eastern Shore and bringing neighbors together around shared values. Denise works to ensure local Democrats feel connected, informed, and empowered to take action.

Pam Skaggs
Chair
Pam serves as Chair of the South Baldwin Democrats and has helped build a strong, engaged community of Democrats in this region of Baldwin County. She is dedicated to creating welcoming spaces where members can connect, organize and support one another.
